1. There are two sessions; Fall/September-December and Winter/January-April.

2. A second draft will be determined by the Executive after the Fall session.

3. Games will be played in two, 20-minute halves.

4. All overtime periods will be 5 minutes in length until a winner is deemed.

5. All Teams must wear the designated jersey colour and it must be numbered.

6. Players will use the same jersey number every week.

7. Teams must have 5 players to start a game but may continue a game with only 4.

8. Members of the Executive are not allowed to play on the same Team. 

9. A Team shall lose the game by forfeit if ten (10) minutes after the scheduled starting time, the Team is not present or is unable to court five (5) players ready to play (three (3) must be of original Team).  The game is awarded to the opponent and the score shall be twenty to zero (20 to 0).

10. A Team may not pick up any spares if they have seven (7) or more original players.

11. Spares are not permitted during the semi-finals or finals.

12. If a Team has less than seven (7) players, a Team may pick up to a maximum of two (2) spares from any Team, including the opposing Team should they wish to do so.  If at any point the Team has seven (7) original players, spares must discontinue playing.

13. Teams may only pick up spare players until 10 minutes of initial play is complete (i.e. 10 minutes in the first half).  No spares can be picked up after the 10 minute mark (i.e. in the second half).

14. Spare players may only play for any other given Team once per session (i.e. blue player X may only spare with white Team once per session); any additional playing for that Team is at a cost of $10 per play.

15. Every team will have alternating scorekeeping duties of their opposite game time.  If no one is available, the Team Captain must score keep, followed by a member of the Executive if the Team Captain is unable to do so.

16. Officials will NOT handle (administer) the ball on throw-ins, taking place in the backcourt on violations, or out of bounds situations. 

        EXAMPLE - offence commits a travel violation in the frontcourt.  The resulting throw-in will take place in the backcourt and will not be administered          by the official. 

17.  Officials will administer throw-ins taking place in the backcourt after fouls.

18.  Backcourt throw-in situations that are not administered by an official affect substitutions and time outs.  For both substitutions and time outs, the                defensive team may be granted a substitute or time out until the player making the throw-in has the ball at their disposal (ball out of bounds at the              throw-in spot).

       EXAMPLE - offence commits a travel violation in the frontcourt.  The resulting throw-in will take place in the backcourt and will not be administered            by the official.  The team not making the throw-in is entitled to substitute or request a time out until the player making the throw-in has the ball at              their disposal at the throw-in spot.

23.  When the game clock shows 2:00 minutes or less of the second half, following a time out taken by the team that is entitled to possession of the ball            from its backcourt, the subsequent throw-in shall be administered at the throw-in line opposite the scorer’s table in the team’s frontcourt.

24.  Teams will begin the game shooting at the basket opposite their bench.

25.  Players or bench personnel ejected from the game for any Disqualifying Foul infractions (for example, for actions such as fighting or abusive                        conduct/language, etc.) must immediately leave the premises.  This does not apply to players who have committed five personal fouls and/or one                technical.

26.  There may be a shot clock in effect; this is at the discretion of the Executive.  If there is a shot clock, the shot clock will be at thirty (30) seconds and at        the discretion of the Officials.
